Covid visa extension Samui or Phangan

Featured Replies

Hello friends.

I'm in Koh Samui now.

Last time I extended my covid 60 visa at Chonburi immigration. The stamp will expire on 3/1.

I am thinking of extending my corona visa again.

I have a few questions,

1. When can I apply for an extension? For example, if I go to apply for an extension on tomorrow,  2022/02/04, will I get the 60 day stamp until 5/1?

2. what documents do I need to apply for a Corona visa? Do I need to ask someone at my hotel to fill out the forms as I did in Chonburi?

3. Can I apply for a Corona visa at the Immigration Office on Koh Phangan?

You have to apply at Koh Samui and will need a TM7

Be prepared for difficulties at Samui Immigration. DON'T WAIT TILL THE LAST DAY!!!!!

Samui Immigration is very well known......

If I were you I would be going to the IO asap as here on Samui they sometimes make life very difficult for we foreigners and I’m talking from years of experience dealing with them . I wish you luck maybe you can report back on how you got on

so when can you report ahead of time?

You can apply for the extension up to 2 weeks early at most offices. At some you can do it earlier than that.

1. Yes

2. Yes, and the same forms as last time. You would need your Samui hotel to register TM30 for you.

3. Yes, but you would need to get your Koh Phangan hotel to register TM30 for you.
