OneMoreFarang
I am sure someone will also mention the Thonglor Pet Hospital It's private and expensive, so better think twice before you go there.
Cake Monster
Why have you left the welfare of the Dog to the last minute before traveling back to Isaan. If the care needed is specialist, surely the Animal should have been seen sooner by a Vet.

We left our dog with a professional trainer while we went to Cambodia on a visa run. The trainer thinks there is some sort of fungus on her skin and he told us that he would treat her for this while we were in Cambodia. He was unable to get the medicine reqired for her so we are looking for a place we can go to get medicine for her before the long drive home. We can go anywhere in Bangkok. jak2002003
If it is a fungal infection or other skin problems then it's not a good idea to allow the dog to swim at all.
meatboy
a simple scrape of the infected area sent to a lab,who would put the sample under a microscope [if they got one] then they would be able to know the cause.i have a lot of exoeriance of vets in issan which is not very good.read for yourself in the pets forum 2015-2018. Oxx
One of the most highly regarded vets for dogs is Supasek Sarachitti at Crystal Pet Hospital. (He's its owner.) Appointments are not available - you have to turn up and wait. (I've never had to wait more than an hour and a half.) I think his normal working hours are from 2 p.m.. You'd have to 'phone them, however, to check whether he's working or not. The hospital is not easy to find. It's in the backstreets to the north of Crystal Design Center (CDC). Also, one needs to be aware that it has a number of branches. In my experience, the branches are not all as well equipped or staffed as the main branch. Specialists may only be available a couple of days a week. Whilst one branch is close to where I live, I've stopped using it and now go to a couple of vets quite a bit further away. internationalism
salaya pet hospital run by mahidol university. It's a teaching hospital, so very high level of care. My dog was diagnosed by a professor who was running classes there. It's on the west border of bangkok. Opens 8:30-4pm, the last registration 14:30. They have vets specialising in many medical conditions, for example kidney specialist is only available on fridays
Sheryl
https://www.facebook.com/CAHanimalhospital/ I doubt you really need a specialist for this, just a good vet with adequate laboratory facilities
