The Russian army is looking for new cannon fodder for their botched war in Ukraine. Now, Russia has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, it currently ranks number 9 in the world (https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/suicide-rate-by-country), so maybe they can persuade those poor souls to give their lives for mother Russia.

Ukraine war: Drone downed over Russia, Moscow says

A Ukrainian drone has been shot down by Russian air defences, Moscow says.

The drone came down in the town of Kireyevsk - some 400km (249 miles) from the Ukraine border - on Sunday, the defence ministry has said.

Russia state media is reporting that at least three people had been injured in an explosion after it was brought down.

If they didn't want to lose they should not have started it!

I never said they would lose, and short of NATO joining in I think it will end in a negotiated settlement.

Eventually, IMO, it will become politically impossible for western nations in a financial crisis to continue pouring money into Ukraine, and then it's game over for Ukraine, unless they do negotiate.

IMO all Russia has to do is hold on and wait.
