An explicit 90-day report is not required for a while. The new Non Immigrant entry from the Non O visa resets the clock, and the first one-year extension of the Non Immigrant entry is treated as a 90-day report in addition to an extension. Thus, the first 90-day report is not actually necessary until 90 days after you receive the one-year extension.

To clarify -

The 1st 90 Day Report is due 90 days after the date that the 1 year Retirement Extension was stamped into my passport?

Or 90 days after the 1 year Retirement Extension actually begins /takes effect?

E.g., 1 year RE stamped into my pp March 1st to begin May 1st (the non-O expiring on April 30th).

1st 90 Day Report due 90 days after March 1st or 90 days after May 1st?

I'm in the situation you described. my first ever 90 day report is due on the 27th of March so I guess I'll find out in about a week if I can do it online or not.

Please report here if you were successful or not doing it online.

Also with an agent (I've done it once) your passport must be out of your hands for about a week-at least that was my experience. The risk is small but the anxiety for some of us can be great.

The agent couldn't file using a copy of your passport?
