Bang Kaew police and Poh Teck Tung rescue services and medics were called after a motorcyclist from Kalasin hit the side of a U-turn bridge on the Bang Na - Trat highway KM 6.

Dead at the scene from a broken neck and head injuries was Jirapong, 37.

His Yamaha was still 20 meters above on the bridge.

No one saw what happened but police reckon he hit the edge of the bridge and plunged over.

A video on YouTube featured in the 77kaoded report from the scene of the accident just after midnight today.
