Motorbike Accident In Front Of Carrefour

At 3.30 am on 14th June the Pattaya police were informed of a motorbike accident in front of Carrefour and found that there were 3 people in total who were injured.

At the scene the Sawang Rescuers quickly aided Samruay – 23, Miss Rattana – 42, and Miss Ratchaneeporn – 34 before taking them all to be treated at the hospital.

The police seized the two damaged Honda Waves at the scene and then started questioning.

It was found that Samruay is a motorbike taxi rider and he was taking Miss Rattana who he picked up from a beer bar on Beach Road to go home heading out to Sukhumvit. When they arrived in front of Carrefour Miss Ratchaneeporn speeded out of Soi Arunothai in front of Samruay and so they crashed.

Negotiations will be made after they recover from hospital and if non-negotiable; the police will proceed according to law.

I passed this accident just after it happened this morning. It looked serious with about 100 on-lookers so I couldn't see much.

I'm glad no one was killed.
