No Flea Markets In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I've been wondering this for a while now ...where are the flea markets in Bangkok? Or elsewhere in Thailand? When I lived in Europe, I used to go to the flea markets on the weekend just for fun and sometimes even found something useful. Is there anything like that in Thailand? I'm aware of the Chatuchak weekend market but that's more like actual shops selling their chinese imported shirts or rubber footwear, not actual people selling the things they don't need anymore.

:o

Try the soi's on the opposite side of Jaroen Krung Road from Klorng Tom machinery market near Chinatown. Lots of little brik a brak shops with everything from antiques to meat mincers.

Beware though - traffic & parking are a nightmare. Take a tuk tuk from Hua lumphong is better.

Cheers,

Soundman.
