That's the deal here, you take care of them, they will take care of you. Beats the hell out of being shoved into some aged care facility in the West, and being fed pig slop. I don't know where they get the idea they are civilized.

LOL. If I tried to "hang out" with younger women they'd probably call the cops. Owning a m'bike in NZ now is very expensive because of the ACC levy. Pity, as I loved riding my m'bike in my 20s. IMO just accepting one's age and keeping busy or doing anything that keeps one's mind off one's situation works for me most of the time.

There is a movie called Ronin with Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno (it has nothing to do with Japan). Actually a good action movie about for-hire tough guys shooting up France. About 20 years ago, it seemed like every expat hangout in LOS had this movie playing constantly. I think the scene most enjoyed is where the Sean Bean character gets his comeuppance. It addresses the situation of your post.
bendejo
I've witnessed too many middle-aged women pursue the Fountain of Youth by behaving like a spoiled 14 year-old. Their lives are just one hissy fit after next. IMO it's a pretty sorry sight.
daveAustin
Whatever floats your boat op. Expect most of the world’s populace—barring the rich aholes that have made massive coin out of covid—is stressing over lost time and associated mental effects. As at any point in one’s life; diet, environment, exercise, sleep, good books, good music. Women may also help, but I find minimal exposure best. ????

ourdon
Father time is not "sneaking" anywhere. He's roaring up the boulevard with "The four horsemen" and all of the Valkyries. They're all riding Harley Fat boys with straight pipes. Subtle is not their forte' I'll meet them when they arrive. In the mean time I really enjoy getting up on the green side of the grass.
