Villagers spooked as dog finds human skull - police have leads in death of lieutenant's brother

Daily News Thai Caption: Killed then concealed in the forest

 

Villagers in Ban Pho Sai in the Phibun Mangsahan police jurisdiction in Ubon Ratchathani, NE Thailand, got a nasty shock when a dog returned from scavenging in a nearby field.

 

It had a human skull in its jaws.

 

The resulting kerfuffle led to the discovery of decomposing remains nearby.

Pol Sub-lieutenant Eknarong Tharabutr, 56, said the remains were those of his brother Suthen, 36, missing since March 5th.

 

Daily News reported that Suthen and his wife and family members had argued. 

 

The local police said they know what happened and arrests are imminent.

Peaceful and smiling Thailand is an illusion.  Much like the 36 countries I have lived or visited, violence knows no bounds. I hope the clerk recovers and these thugs receive the wrath of justice, if such a thing exists here. The Red Bull  saga is an example.
