Teenager Wounded In Drive By Shooting

A 19 year old Thai teenager was riding his motorbike down a well-travelled soi in Nongprue on Wednesday afternoon when he was shot and severely wounded by a pillion passenger on another motorbike.

According to the wounded man’s statement, he was riding down the road when he saw two motorbikes coming towards him riding side by side. One had two men aboard, the other had a male rider and female pillion passenger. The teenager said his assailant asked him what he was looking at when they passed by and then suddenly produced a small-bore shotgun and fired one shot. The victim was shot in the ribs and taken to Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital where he is a stable condition.
