Recommended Skin Cancer Doctors in Thailand??????

Featured Replies

Australian doctors should be more knowledgeable & experienced about skin cancers than those here (since Oz is the world leader in skin cancer incidence).  While this article suggests that assumption maybe problematic, it got me thinking that I should have a few skin spots checked out.

Can anyone suggest/recommend a good skin doctor (not cosmetic!!!).  [I live in Rayong - so doctors there or Bangkok preferred]

As skin cancer is much less common in Thais than in Westerners, few Thai dermatologists have much experience in it (and even less experience in recognizing it on Caucasion skin).

Best doctor in Thailand for this is in Pattaya:

Thanks again, Sheryl.  I had an appointment with Dr Anna last week - clearly she is extremely competent.  In and out in less than 15 minutes, thorough examination of my face and shoulders - the two spots I was most concerned about were described as "old man's warts" (true, and of no problem) and some 5 kerotosis spots were frozen.

Certainly recommended and I will be back to see her again next year.
