webfact Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 Sanook Thai Caption: Looking for Pangpang Si Khio police in Nakhon Ratchasima, NE Thailand, are on the case after a Pit Bull terrier was stolen from a stonemason's on the Mitraphap Highway heading south out of Korat on Saturday night. Sanook reporters went to meet the dog owner whose name is Siriyon, 42. He said that he bought his pit bull as a four month old puppy and he was now 11 months. He described him as a bit "ting tong" (mildly crazy). This certainly didn't mean violent. Siriyon told how Pangpang would meet customers to the stonemason's and was a gentle dog. He was beloved by all the family to the point of being another son. Siriyon said he always let Pangpang out at night. But on Sunday morning he was nowhere to be found so eventually the CCTV was checked. Keep up to date with all things Thailand - Join our daily ASEAN NOW Thailand Newsletter - Click to subscribe It showed a man in a pick-up entice Pangpang with some food then pick him up and load him into the front passenger seat. The police's job has been aided by the fact that after the theft the pick-up driver went to a convenience store at a gas station and used a loyalty card. This gave the cops his phone number, name and age, 41. They called him and he said he had dumped the dog in Pak Chong as he was heading for Bangkok. Police dismissed this as nonsense. Sanook also reported that before ringing off the alleged thief had said that he thought the pit bull was a stray. The hunt for the Pit Bull pincher continues. Popular Post proton Posted April 12, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 12, 2022 Yeah, they are all gentle until your back is turned and they rip a kiddies face off. Should be a worldwide ban on these monsters. If they are so soft why do they always seem to have names like fury, fang, tyson and storm? 3 1
richard_smith237 Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 Dog debate aside.... In a comical manner it always astonishes me how utterly dumb many criminals here are in Thailand.... .... I do seem to read a lot about these feckless fools who did something utterly moronic like rob a 7-11 on a motorcycle registered in their name etc... 2
Popular Post thenewgoo Posted April 12, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 12, 2022 Hopefully not collected for a dog-fighting ring. 4 1

ThaiFelix Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 Judging by the thief's manner in the video I wouldnt mind betting he has had dealings with the stonemason and knew already that the dog was docile. He seems all too casual to me. 2

SunsetT Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) What a caring owner letting a young dog out every night next to a busy highway like that! Typical Thai driver creeping out dead slow into fast moving highway traffic at night...and without indicating too I think! Edited April 12, 2022 by SunsetT 2

I second that, could have easily got his address, had his phone number, and a convenience store at a gas station would have CCTV car reg. Etc. Pathetic policing as usual. No cash = No effort. 2

Captain Monday Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Not pit-bull. Looks like an American Bully, not a fighting bloodline Powerful I'm told but bred for companionship
