Unless you have totally closed off your mind you will be well aware of the facts regards fascism, white supremacy etc in MAGA world. Accordingly I'm not going to waste my time, you're a MAGA supporter and will only come back with deflection, misinformation, all the usual nonsensical reply. -

House approves 122 billion baht digital wallet scheme budget
It's a wonder you've made it to whatever age you are with that mouth. I bet you wouldn't say any of the bilge you spout to anyone's face because you'd be nil by mouth in an ICU in no time. People like you are the reason the why Thais no longer defer to us as they used to. Superior, arrogant, selfish and entitled, you don't give a toss about the country or its people; you care only about what's good for you and you're quite happy for the country to crash just so you can afford half a pint with your Ploughman's lunch instead of tap water. I'm not rich at all; I'm "comfortable" I'm fortunate enough to be able to have a couple of kids at international school and, no, I'm not a teacher. -

Chalerm Declares Political War Against Thaksin
Well I have been here for a long time also. I well remember the first Thaksin government was the first civilian government ever to complete the full 4 year term. At his re-election, his party TRT won an overwhelming majority of seats in parliament. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaksin_Shinawatra#:~:text=Thaksin Shinawatra (born 26 July,Thailand from 2001 to 2006. Thaksin Shinawatra[note 2] (born 26 July 1949) is a Thai businessman and politician. He served in the Thai Police from 1973 to 1987, and was the Prime Minister of Thailand from 2001 to 2006. Thaksin founded the mobile phone operator Advanced Info Service and the IT and telecommunications conglomerate Shin Corporation in 1987, ultimately making him one of the richest people in Thailand. He founded the Thai Rak Thai Party (TRT) in 1998 and, after a landslide electoral victory, became prime minister in 2001. He was the first democratically elected prime minister of Thailand to serve a full term and was re-elected in 2005 by an overwhelming majority. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prime_ministers_of_Thailand Item 23 Thaksin was pm from 09 February until 19 September 2006 when he was overthrown by yet another military coup. After I read the first 2 lines of your post I gave up. quote "Well, here we go. We who have been here know that a Thaksin government never lasts a full cycle". I figure that if you can't get that bit correct, the rest of your post will probably not be correct either. -

Over 5 Million Domestic Tourists Expected During July Long Holidays in Thailand
The government estimates that over 5 million domestic tourists will travel within Thailand during the long weekend in July 2024, generating more than 18 billion Baht in economic activity. According to Government Spokesperson Chai Wacharonke, the promotion of domestic tourism aligns with Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin's policy to stimulate the Thai tourism market. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) projects that the extended holiday period will attract significant numbers of tourists, with the Central region expected to receive the highest number of visitors at 1.17 million trips, followed by Bangkok with about 948,000 trips, and the Northeastern region with 932,000 trips. In terms of revenue, Bangkok is anticipated to generate the most income at 4.781 billion Baht, followed by the Eastern region at 4.06 billion Baht, and the Southern region at 3.01 billion Baht. A survey conducted by the Federation of Thai Industries indicates that most Thai people plan to travel within their own provinces or nearby areas during the holidays. The survey shows that 34% plan to travel within their own province, 14% to nearby provinces, and 25% to other regions during the Asalha Puja and Buddhist Lent holidays. For His Majesty the King's 72nd birthday anniversary, 29% plan to travel within their province, 10% to nearby provinces, and 16% to other regions. In response to these travel trends, the TAT, in collaboration with other agencies, has organized a series of events and promotions to encourage tourism across the five regions of Thailand. These include campaigns in the North, such as the "Amazing Northern Retreat Month" and "Chiang Rai Fashion to the World." Similar initiatives are planned for the Central, Eastern, and Southern regions to promote local tourism and boost economic activity. Polish man arrested for ganja LED grow lights theft in Chiang Mai
True very much! Every failure with Thai partners could be avoided with well written and notarized agreement. But no! We are friends, we are family, we like each other a lot! Boom and your foreign investment gone! Your know how not yours anymore and so and so. I can write a volumes on such stories Something that will have a weight in the court won't cost you much, however might prevent from disaster. PS: Not always. I knew one fella sales-man who didn't receive quite big commission so he went to the court for many years - no success. Farang against farang-thai company. -

Right. Christian cults can extort huge donations from elderly members. Believing in Christian dogma makes the believers vulnerable to scams by unscrupulous leaders. -
