webfact Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 By Tanakorn Panyadee Bang Lamung — Hundreds of domestic tourists flooded into Pattaya and Jomtien over the past three days to spend a vacation at Jomtien and Pattaya Beach over the three-day labor day weekend, which gave many Thai people an extra day off work. Sunday, May 1st, was Thailand’s National Labor Day, while yesterday, May 2nd, was the government holiday for the occasion. TPN reporters stationed in Bang Lamung, Chonburi, reported that traffic on the Motorway Road (route 7) leading into Pattaya was relatively congested, with cars lining up for several kilometers. mrfill Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Small section of economy gets very excited after slight boost owing to business created by people from 80% of the economy who are producing nothing as its a public holiday (again) and most of the businesses are closed for the duration..
