Adumbration
So a guy plastering gypsum all day will almost have enough to buy his family 1 kilo of pork, a bag of rice and some cooking oil. Or he could save up two days wages and splash out on a single durian. Amazing Thailand indeed. The tiling rate is nonense too. Any tiler worth his salt will be sub contracting for at least 150baht per meter. Even a one armed tradie should be able to lay more than 3 square meter of tiles in a day. 1
mikebell
'Cabinet approves new wage rates for skilled workers in Thailand' I wouldn't have thought there was enough money in the treasury to pay both skilled workers.

topt
How do they differentiates between the different levels - who decides the grading? Try finding a decent tiler in Pattaya for those rates......... Edited May 11, 2022 by topt
