Whats the process if one wants to get a divorce in Thailand?

If anyone has recently been divorced to a Thai lady in the past 2 yrs could you perhaps comment below. 

 

The marriage between the wife and I is on the rocks a little bit. Maybe we will stay together, maybe we will divorce. I dont know. But Im interested to know the logistics if we do cut ties. 

 

We both invested in a business 4 yrs ago. I put in a lot more money than she did and she says she will buy me out if we finish. 

 

Can I assume the process might be:

1. Agree on amount to pay me out

2. Put it in a divorce agreement/ contract

3. She pays the money to my account

4. Head down to the amphur office and sign

 

We are both not into drama and I thus wanted to know do we only need an attorney to draw up the divorce agreement and sign it at their office? 

 

Im ok for my child to live with her but I would want 50% access stipulated in the contract. 

 

If you have recently divorced in Thailand I would appreciate your comments and opinions
