Baron Samedi Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Can I ask for a tourism eVisa online and then enter Thailand by land (from Cambodia or Malaysia let's say) ? Thx 1
DrJack54 Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Provided the land border is open no problem. Avoid Aranyaprathet/Poipet from Cambodia. 1
zappalot Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 I did not read the latest about Aranyaprathet/Poipet. Do they refuse entry despite having a valid tourist evisa?

Although recent reports are lacking, it would not be wise to risk entering through this border crossing (if you have previously spent long periods in Thailand). It is still probably a rogue crossing. 1
thecyclist Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Thailand has an E-visa?? Is that a new thing? I know that Cambodia and Vietnam have E-visas, but Thailand.

Onerak Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 A visa is a visa. eVisa or sticker visa makes no difference. I don't see any reason why it will not be accepted in a land crossing. If it is a single entry visa and already used to enter earlier, it is not longer valid If it is multi entry e-visa, it will be acceptable. 1

Some border's are easily deny entry, so it is a wise choice to enquire first. 1
xxeo Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 By the way: Leaving Thailand at Aranyaprathet border, can I get a re-entry permit there or should I go to the immigration before? (Will fly back to Thailand from Phnom Penh.)
