Regulation signed to make cannabis flowers a controlled herb in Thailand

Cannabis flowers, which contain a higher level of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) than other parts of the plant, have been classified as a controlled herb, under a new ministerial regulation already signed by Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, which will become effective after its publication in the Royal Gazette.

BANGKOK GOVERNOR Chadchart Sittipunt explained June 15 that the luxury house in Seattle, USA, belongs to his son, Mr. Saenpiti Sittipunt, and was purchased with proceeds from the sale of one-rai land on Rama 4 road that his mother had given him, Amarin TV said.

Jomtien, Pattaya, Chonburi – Beach goers are concerned on less free space and vendor encroachment on the newly extended Na Jomtien Beach despite a large warning sign which was placed stating that the usage of the beach is for the public and not vendors and businesses.

Man captured by pedestrians after trying to steal a gold necklace from a Sri Racha gold shop

Sri Racha police were notified yesterday, June 16th, about a gold-snatching report at one shopping center in the Sri Racha subdistrict of Sri Racha, Chonburi. The thief reportedly snatched a gold necklace weighing three baht.

Late PM Samak’s family ordered to pay ฿587m baht compensation to BMA

The Supreme Administrative Court has upheld the ruling of a lower court, ordering the immediate family of the late Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej, his widow Khunying Surat and their two daughters, to pay the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) 587 million baht in compensation, plus interest, over a scandalous overpriced fire truck and fire-fighting boat deal with an Austrian company in 2004.
