Sanook Thai Caption: Two lives saved

 

Sanook reported praise for a Thai Navy Seal after he happened to be passing and saw a car drive off the road into a klong at a bend. 

 

Chief Petty Officer 3rd Class Anuchit Phromdonkloi dived into the water and managed to rescue a mother (aged about 48) and her child.

 

Anuchit said that the child has terminal cancer and was on the back seat unable to help himself get out. 

 

They were both recovering from their ordeal that was featured in a TikTok post under the name tankook2533 on Friday. 

 

The accident and rescue happened in So Phisai district, Bung Kan in Thailand's north east. 

 

Anuchit was on his way to his own mother's funeral at the time.
