Hi There

I am not sure of Wing Chun in BKK, but I can tell you, moving on a little,

one of the top Jeet Kune Do instructors in the world ( and Kali also) Sifu Mark Stewart

has a club in BKK, and Mark teaches there, when he is not training abroad, Leigh & Kris

run it when Mark is not around.

i did a bit of training there, and its excellent but I live in Pattaya, and due to schedule changes have not being able to go, but if I get a chance I will.

Sifu Mark trained with Wing Chun, and most recent, is private student of Ted Wong, who was Bruce Lees last training parnter, and in BKK they are teaching Bruces last updated version of JKD before he died.

Look at www.i-jkd.com and you can get all the info on there.

Highly recommended Sifu Mark & his team at www.i-jkd.com

(PS I have to sneak this in, we got Krav maga coming soon kravmagathailand.com)

Hi Gerry, thanks for the links. I'll check out the JKD place. Do you know how much they charge?

Good luck with finding a facility for the krav maga btw. I've heard good stuff about it from guys in the IDF.

thanks for good luck on the Krav Maga, yes this Tactical Krav Maga, is the best "style" of Krav Maga in have done, as in street effective. ( I was in 2 other different KM school/styles before this, etc, years kickboxing, and then the obligatory Muay Thai on moving to Thailand!)

Not sure how much www.i-jkd.com charges, the lads had to move the class times around recently, but I do know you can do JKD and Kali, or just JKD or Just Kali. The price was very reasonable, as far as I remember, but best to go to www.i-jkd.com and email the lads in the BKK group, either leigh or kris will get back to you. I think kris lurks on the forum at times.

As I said, the training is top notch, and their a great bunch of people to train with, very committed, and very nice people too!

Actually I just noticed your in singapore, well they got a JKD group there too, and mark trains the police or something over there too. You might get a taster of it before you come to BKK.

Cheers

Gerry
