A 37-year-old pickup truck driver crashed into the rear of a trailer truck waiting to make a U-turn. The pickup driver suffered life-threatening injuries while the trailer truck driver was reportedly unharmed.

The collision took place on the road inbound to Pattaya in the Nong Pla Lai subdistrict of Banglamung on Friday, July 22nd, before dawn.

The male pickup driver Weerapat Bunnag, 37, was freed from the wreck of his Toyota Vigo pickup truck by rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation. Due to the victim’s multiple life-threatening injuries including a deep cut to his neck, the rescuers needed to rush him to the nearest hospital for an emergency care.

Not sure where this is but it sounds close to my area....

One of the big danger points is the many U-Turns... and sometimes the trailer trucks attempt them.... of course starting from the overtaking lanes....

Looks like a well lit truck and road in the full story, appears to be yet again just ANOTHER incompetent driver at the wheel of a pick up, no surprises as the pathetic driving test is at about 20 kmh max.

And not on the road but a Legoland mock-up where examiners observe from the safety of towers.
