Visa run from Mukdahan to Savahnakeht

Featured Replies

Can I apply for an e-visa to enter Laos from Thailand? I am a US citizen and I will only be in Laos for one night.

At that crossing it is common to apply for visa on arrival . Cost is 30 dollars I think or 1500 baht.

Not sure about the e-visa.

Not sure about the e-visa.

Do you know if that is $30 US and is that the price for a US passport? I found it written that the price is $30 to $45 depending on nationality.

As far as I know it is 30 US for most countries.

People have been recently and there is a recent thread on it by someone who went a few weeks ago. Search for it as it gives all the current info.

If you live anywhere near Khon Khen there is also a Lao consulate there that issues visas.

You can get an e-visa to cross at Savv, I think it is $50, the on arrival one is $40, not sure about in bht, but I think it is now 2000bht...
