Just wondering if Savarnakhet has started doing 1 year visa non o to visit family and what are the covid requirements to enter at the moment.

Yes for visa.

Covid stuff no, but to re-enter LOS you need proof of vax or a test cert...

The are doing multiple entry non-o visas that is valid for one year based upon marriage to a Thai now.

If fully vaccinated only proof of that is needed to enter Laos and return to Thailand. If not you will need a covid 19 antigen test to enter Laos.

By family if you mean a thai wife or a husband, you can get non-o multi only. Apply in the morning and get it afternoon the next day.

-5000 baht

-original and copy of the marriage certificate

-original Kor2 (your wife can get it from Amphue)

-copy house book

-copy wife id (sign by wife)

-copy your passport

-2 photo of you for the form. 

 

Everything must have 2 copy and your signature. Only wife will sign house book and ID
