I don't want to smoke anything because this is purely for medical purposes.  I have chronic anxiety disorder and it is ruining my life.  Everyone says cannabis helps with anxiety symptoms.  So where can I buy an over the counter product containing cannabis?

Maybe adding where you actually live would help . 

If you go to one of the medical dispensaries that have been around for a year or so they have THC and CBD extract in drops. It is controlled so they have a doctor on duty to provide a "prescription".

Try high dose CBD tincture before weed as its all over the place with effects on anxiety on the THC side of things and the strain.

You can even get pure CBD "weed" (hemp) which would not make you more anxious....the CBD tinctures here are a rip-off vs UK prices.

High THC weed with almost no CBD and high percentage Sativa would worsen your anxiety big time IMO...maybe only Indica strains with good dash of CBD might also work for you after seeing if CBD alone helps you out.

 

My friend in UK swears by a couple of CBD tincture brands for social anxiety/people overload that he could not deal with before them....not avail. to buy them here though...= airmail.

This was only option before decrim.

Official govt. brand tinctures...as i said try higher dose CBD before  THC/CBD and THC one last...but speak to a doctor anyway but these tinctures avail. from many online places now as a  side choice to the buds.....

...another option is working with a qualified hypnotherapist in Thailand.
