One needs to read between the lines. Krissana said that the rule was designed to curb freedom of speech, but not specifically for this purpose. That is just an unavoidable collateral damage that people have to live with.

These draconian laws they implement and this one based on COVID. The Thai government like in my  country America don't realize the majority of people see right through them and their attempts to silence our rights as humans the freedom to speech. Its all about power and control by the elites.

When the right people complain about them. One elderly chap was arrested for a humorous post on facebook which showed that four LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ flags formed a swastika, they sent 8 officers to arrest him and hancuffed him for not committing a crime.

Everything except actual crime is now policed in the UK.
