Who're you looking at? Men nabbed after coming off bike following sword attack on Grab rider

Daily News reported that the Pak Kret police in Nonthaburi were called after a sword weilding attack on a Grab rider.

 

It appeared that the sole cause was looking at each other. 

 

Weerayuth, 26, a Grab rider on the way to see his daughter, was chased by two men on another bike from the Suan Somdej intersection to the end of Soi Tiwanon- Pak Kret 24.

 

The men responsible were Natheethorn, 24, the rider and Nampetch, 19, who was wielding a 30 cm long weapon.

Weerayuth said that he had been stopped at the lights and thereafter the two men had pulled alongside him and looked at him and he had looked at them thinking he might know them.

 

Without saying anything the sword was wielded at him once then aimed again at his waist. 

 

He avoided injury because it hit the belt of his bag breaking it. 

 

They all then came off their bikes with the assailants hitting the back of a pick-up before police took them into custody.
