Pattaya — A 19-year-old Middle Eastern man from Kuwait, an alleged street racer, crashed into a taxi in Pattaya and lost his finger.

The accident took place early this morning, August 24th, on the Bali Hai overpass in Banglamung’s Nongprue subdistrict. TPN notes motorbikes are forbidden on this overpass legally.

At around 1.30 a.m., Pattaya Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan rescue services aided 19-year-old Mr. Faisal who accidentally crashed his Yamaha Spark motorbike into a taxi.

So, what is an actual street racer?

A moron who likes to go fast on the streets?

Or he is a professional racer of some sort?

He destroyed a vintage scooter. What a shame !

Yeah, young folks from Middle Eastern countries.... clean as a whistle behaviour at home, step off the plane here with their Levi's and ball caps on 'ready to let loose'.......... repairs at the hospital won't cost much with his Kuwaiti Dinar.

That would be nice but would it not be better if you just take the keys off of them and make them walk?

I presume at the moment they are simply at risk of losing their rental deposit,

Yes, despite a common language with the Saudi neighbours many a message while driving no longer possible.

It's the hottest time of the year where they come from (the Middle East). Often over 45 degrees Centigrade. .So they all get out. Go on holiday somewhere a bit cooler.

It's like a reverse high season for westerners. They head for the sun, the arabs head for cooler climes. For them at least.

The relatively poorer ones visit Pattaya or Phuket. The rich go to London or Paris.

Many older ones take the opportunity to visit places like Bumrungrad for medical holidays. That's why it's so busy this time of year.

Had or still have a similar problem in London. Especially around Knightsbridge. All the rich ones ship their Bugattis, Ferraris and Lamborghinis over and used to race around, The police stopped that, so they then used to rev their engines at night outside the packed bars and restaurants. Attention seeking.

Several articles in the newspapers about expensive cars left in car pounds and forgotten about by owners after being towed away for parking offences. They just go home and buy a new one.

Summertime in London you will see lots of these supercars driving around. Some tastelessly covered in gold film. Whole families come. The rich boys bring their cars, and the women empty the shelves in Harrods and Harvey Nicholls etc.

It's an annual thing.

nobody leaves unscathed, perhaps their mind is now Satan's.
