Huge python dangling from tree in downtown Bangkok - netizens comment in droves

Daily News credited a Facebook post by a woman called "Paeng Manrai Y." who posted pictures of a huge snake dangling from a tree in a soi leading up to the BMA offices in Din Daeng, downtown Bangkok.

 

Paeng said be careful especially to motorcyclists and went with a hashtag that translated as #hairstandingup.

 

She then posted another picture saying that yesterday it was a mummy python, today was it's middle sized child. 

 

Needless to say Bangkokians were commenting in droves on the sight of a huge snake - or even two - in their midst.

I expect the occasional Burmese python here, living close to Khao Yai, but this one is far from a suitable home. 

 The vast majority of snakes in Bangkok walk upright on 2 legs, their nationality being irrelevant.

Loads of snakes in Bangkok, they eat the rats.
