Given the loud and fatal bang that happened the other night, and the chatter about who it was that may have set and detonated the charge it may be he will be violently and premeditatedly removed rather than 'naturally' falling over and having someone step over his peacefully reclined corpse.

Even if Putin is replaced, Russia's policies would likely not change much.

Difficult to turn an ocean liner around quickly. It depends on whether his successor has the same intestinal fortitude as Gorbachev..

He will not fall ill. The way the universe seems to work is that truly evil, malicious, dishonest and malignant man and women do not seem to encounter bad fortune, get sick or die. It seems to be part of the universal game, to keep them alive and secure. A sad reality indeed.

IIRC, Billy Joel was one of the first Western musicians to tour in Russia, and was greeted with wild enthusiasm.

I don't understand the point of the subject posed as a question. Does Thailand have some sort of special relationship with Putin that differs from that of most other nations?

The OP is a "nothing burger", and quite pointless.

The answer is that nobody, outside of the Kremlin possibly, knows.

A more useful article might have been to put forward the top runners

and riders for President, and detail their credentials, and, more

especially in view of the subject line, their respective political instincts

or leanings in respect of Thailand.

Did we learn anything useful from the OP? Nope!

It would seem that Mr. Putin will not live to old age if the special operations in Ukraine kills off way too many Russian soldiers. I can not imagine that all the people of Russia will stay silent and supportive if they lose a million of their young men and women in this invasion of Ukraine.  That is my 2 cents worth of opinion.

The title

" Who would Thailand have to deal with if Putin falls ill ?  "

It mentioned    Thailand... Putin.... falls ill.

Simply who the ----   wrote such title and article ?

Mikhail Gorbachev had fallen ill and subsequently passed away in late Aug 2022.

The writer of this article might be so outdated and confused about Gorbachev and Putin.
