Images from GISTDA’s Sentinel-1 satellite, released yesterday (Monday), show flooded areas in Sukhothai, Uttaradit, Suphan Buri, Phetchabun, Prachin Buri, Chai Nat, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Phayao, Phrae, Nakhon Nayok, Nan, Lop Buri, Chachoengsao and Saraburi provinces. Apart from the rice fields, which are likely to be damaged if the flooding is prolonged, more than 1,700 households are also inundated, according to GISTDA. Dependent where you are. So far, I'll have a good year, not dry as usual. I only hope that this year I'll get more than the usual 8.5 baht for dry rice.
Randell
8.5 baht is a decent price. In the north Chiang Rai 5 ,6, 7 is the norm but we have seen better most recently

Big brother China is hoarding rice, I'm sure they'll sell some back at a reasonable profit if Thailand starves.
