Somwang from Ban Bung was returning home from visiting relatives when he became entangled in the cable in a soi in Nong Chak sub-district. He said it took the skin off his neck and it was lucky he wasn't going very fast or he would be dead. The cable had since been cut and piled on one side of the road. A report has been filed with the Ban Bung police.
