Daily News Thai Cap: Attempted bombing of school

Army bomb disposal experts were called to a school in Tak Bai district of Narithiwat, southern Thailand, after a teacher spotted a suspicious device hidden in a box of food.

When EOD personnel arrived at Pula Che Mu Do school the Tak Bai police had already cordoned off the area around the canteen.

Sniffer dogs and personnel in bomb suits were used after a device to block signals was deployed.

An 18 cm long pipe bomb packed with explosives was successfully dealt with.

The bomb had been in a box of breaded sweets that had been left with other food supplies by a bridge next to the school.

Janitors believing it was all for the school brought the supplies in.

But a teacher noted that one item was not the size usually ordered and alerted the police who called in the army.

The device was believed to be the work of southern separatist terrorists who would have blown up the school using a signal from a mobile phone after everyone had gone home, reported Daily News

Just has the word 'Islamic' missing. The apologists are always claiming they do not attack civilian targets, what is a school with kiddies in then? Nobody knows if it would have been blown after everyone had left, just more sugar coating.

The world should ban this cult now rather than later.

Are not all religions (including Buddhism as practiced in some nations) just cults in their rawest form?
