Woman charged with killing her boyfriend - police mention "jealousy" in stabbing death

A woman who stabbed her boyfriend to death with a knife gave herself up to the custody of the Tha Kham police in western Bangkok.

 

Salinthip Khwansirirot, 23, was wanted in connection with the death of a motorcycle delivery rider, said Siam Rath

 

Sahawat, 22, was killed in a fight at a condo in Rama 2. The assailant fled.

 

Thai Rath reported comments from the head of met Region 9 Pol Maj-Gen Ponganan Khlaikhleung. 

 

He said that the suspect surrendered of her own volition, admitted the couple had argued, that it happened in a rented room and that they did not live together.

Following the incident she contacted the juristic person and her mother and father. 

 

Ponganan said that there was not a third party involved but the case hinged on "jealousy" without giving further details.

 

The suspect has been charged with assault causing death.
