webfact
Picture: Siam Rath Bangkok area cabby Saksit, 60, knew just the right cab to buy when he went to a second hand dealership three weeks ago. The pink one. Not because it was pink, many Bangkok cabs are that color. But because the registration plate was "suay suay" - very beautiful. This one had his Buddhist era birthday as its registration plate. Picture: Siam Rath Things went well until last night when Saksit's new cab exploded while he was taking a female passenger home from Bang Phai station to the Sucha housing estate in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi. "I quickly told the lady to get out," said Saksit. "And thankfully we were both unhurt. "I only bought the car 20 days ago from a tent in Din Daeng", lamented the cabby as he watched his pink Altis burn to the ground. His passenger had already found alternative means of transport for her journey home, reported Siam Rath -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-10-12 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
