Rental Scooters In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hi!

Anyone know any decent places in Chiang Mail to rent an Automatic Scooter (Mio, Kick, Step & the like). A shop/hotel name, road address and rental price is what I'm looking for -

Thanks

Not sure if they are "decent" or not, but it is difficult to swing a dead cat in this town without hitting a motor scooter rental shop. (Or, for that matter, a massage shop, 7-11, or noodle stall.) The going rate for a Yamaha Mio is about 150-200 baht per day. Negotiate for a long term rate.

When i was in CM, i rented my bike from Mr Order.

They have a shop about half-way down Thapee Road, just before or after a wat, down a little Soi (5 or 7) - there is usually a signpost directing you to his shop on Thapee.

Obviosuly the longer you rent for the better, I can only drive automatics, think i was given a Mio usually.

Prices about 200/Day or 2800/Month, though this will depend on your negotiation skills!! :o

Thanks! Looks like I'll give Mr. Order a try. Seen some other places, but they appear to be rather expensive. Here in Pattaya the norm is 150 baht (or cheaper) for an automatic scooter.

I rent my motorbike in a little shop opposite of kad suan kaew... prices are 130 or 150 baht per day for an automatic.. If you rent it per month you'll get it for 2500 baht.

Kad Suan Kaew = Big Shopping Center on Huay Kaew Road. On the map, northwest corner of the moat.

That would be Buddy Internet, opposite Central Kad Suan Kaew. They rent bikes in addition to their internet cafe. Good people.
