Daily News Thai Caption: 'Water Monitor's numbers'

Animal catchers were called to a house in Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya, central Thailand, after a large water monitor invaded a house, reported Daily News.

Kittisak, 39, said he was minding his own business when he heard noises coming from the crawl space above the celing.

Then a water monitor's foot came through!

The rescue services used a ladder and soon had the "Tua Ngern Tua Thong" (the silver and gold creature as it is politely called in Thailand) in custody.

It was two meters long and weighed 60-80 kilos.

Now Kittsak's neighbors are using the auspicious arrival of the protected species as a basis for divining the winning lottery numbers in the next draw, due on the 16th November.

The house was 188/60 in Moo 2.

I think it's too much for a 2 meters  long, or it's heavier than I thought

The water monitor is probably telling its mates the same thing.

I thought it was a polite way of saying he was taking a dump.

You may well be right. I didn't even know water monitors use euphemisms.

Dang... what a shock and a bit of adrenalin going through the systems.
