A LAMPANG resident came with his lawyer to file a complaint at the Central Investigation Bureau against a Narcotics Suppression Bureau police officer who had assaulted him and his friends at a karaoke lounge and fired his pistol at them as they fled the scene with no progress made in half a month, Matichon newspaper said Thursday (Nov. 10).

Mr. Ronnarong Kaewpetch, chairman of the Network to Reclaim Justice, brought Mr. Taweepong Yodsiri, 36, to file a complaint about the incident while also accusing provincial policemen of tampering with the evidence in this case.

Taweepong said he and his friends were drinking at a karaoke lounge when an argument broke out with another group of three men there. However, one of the three men claimed to have a Narcotics Control Board card and said he was taking them for a urine test while also beating them up.

Take the money.  It might get more dangerous if he pursues the case.
