TM30

Featured Replies

Coming back to Thailand for 15 days holiday next week- first time for several years. Wife plans to visit several of her numerous relatives, probably short stays at 5 or 6 homes. Do they have to complete a TM30 for every visit?

By the letter of the law yes. In reality the relatives would likely not even know what a TM30 is. As you will not be needing to go to immigration then don't even mention it. not an issue. Enjoy your holiday.

Yes, just visited Bangkok, Pattaya, Ratchaburi nobody asks me for it as the other poster said enjoy your holiday

Unless you are planning on using Immigration services during your trip, (extension of stay, etc) I personally wouldn't even bother registering at all, not even on the first night.

If you can do it hassle free on your phone, fair enough but if you have to spend half a day at Immigration for such a short trip, it's not worth bothering about.

As your trip is only 15 days long, I presume that you don't plan on a trip to Immigration for their visa services.
