Back to Thailand

Featured Replies

I am going back to Thailand next week with a Non O visa. Some of you maybe remember my post from last week where I was asking about my overstay (not a long one): I paid the fine at Suvarnabhumi and got the overstay stamp. Apart the visa, there is something else I should bring in case the IO will ask about my overstay? Thank you.

The overstay will not be an issue.

Would be amazed if the io even mentioned it.

That said I would have prepared answer to any question (which will not be asked) . Such as missed flight.

Had covid.....whatever.

No problem

If you have time can you post a trip report after arrival.

From io experience and also crowds etc

My only experience in recent times: A mate was here on visa exempt, left 7 days late to Japan for 2 months. He returned the October 3, exempt again and no questions were asked of him on being stamped in at Suvarnabhum

Obviously it’s up to the IO, just passing on info

Should not be any problem?

If you can, choose a male IO at immigration, I have heard female IO's can be more of a problem?

Try to get a male customs agent.
