In Bangkok it would be https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Bavornrit-Chuckpaiwong

But no need to go to Bangkok if you live in Chuang Mai

See this US trained specialist in foot and ankle surgery:

https://www.bangkokhospital-chiangmai.com/en/doctor/dr-tanawat-vaseenon-m-d/

https://sriphat.med.cmu.ac.th/en/doctor/detail/717

(same doctor, different hospitals. Sriphat may cost a bit less)

As a matter on interest. Have a bunion on my right toe, or should I say had.

Extensive work on my toe and up to the knee by a masseuse weekly for about 8 months has basically pushed the bone almost back in to place- a few more treatments to go.

May not work for everyone but has for me, at least for the time being!

Could you share name and location of the masseuse? As this is far beyond the ability of most of them.

She used to work at BigC Mae Hia but they closed down. She now works from home. I will ask her is she wants me to pass on her information. I got the impression that she learned to deal with the bunion as she went along and took advice from others and for me it has been successful although quite painful at times.

It's not a quick fix me up.

It would nto be, what is amazing is that it worked at all.

Clearly not your average Thai masseuse.
