A place for construction of new Parliament has not yet been decided

Chairman of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA), Meechai Ruchuphan (มีชัย ฤชุพันธ์), informs a place for construction of new Parliament has yet been concluded.

Mr. Meechai says the committee is still considering on whether it will use golf course of the Royal Irrigation Department (RID) at Nontaburi (นนทบุ) Province to construct new Parliament. Members of the committee include NLA members, and officers from Education Ministry, the Treasury Department, and the RID.

NLA Chairman says it will be under responsibility of new NLA if the matter is not finalized within this administration.

however the protests against , ie NIMBY

have.

How about suvarnabhumi airport? Plenty of space, road access. That means it's easier to get to protests and if anything happens they can flee the country.

Why bother. Just move it into one of the military barracks. It would be more convenient.
