Popular Post Neeranam Posted December 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 2, 2022 Interesting read, although will annoy the haters who missed out. Of course, they are buying BTC again at the current low. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/30/bitcoin-family-moving-more-than-1-million-into-dexs-after-ftx-collapse.html 3
worgeordie Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Good luck to them , either very brave or stupid ,with more exchanges calapising , but they are keeping their crypto in cold storage whatever that means . regards worgeordie
smutcakes Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Fair play to them... not sure why it would annoy 'haters'. Seems they have made a bit of money, but hardly massive amounts. Dont know why if they had plenty of cash they would ever think its a good idea to do an article about it so everyone knows. Although i did note that they repeatedly insisted that their cold storage wallets are hidden ALL OVER the world, not in their pant draw in their house in Phuket.... Not exactly convenient if one of their holdings sky rocket and they need to fly to Holland to get their wallet.
Longreach Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 it is an electronic wallet. u can access it from anywhere (or are u being a smartybum?)
Thomas KH Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Totally forgot about my humble stash of coins if not for this article ???? 1
patman30 Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 it likely won't end too well for him he was here a while ago for quite some time he is having a good run though

They can store wallet files but what they can do, i do this myself is split the private keys, save first half on one spreadsheet and second half on another spreadsheet (encrypted) i can then give one file to one friend and another file to another friend both can be anywhere globally, neither can touch funds, i can get funds with two phonecalls (if late and i need to wake them up to send file)

I wouldn't bother explaining to these guys, they don't even know how to buy Bitcoin and come into these threads to tell us investors how foolish we are. 2 3

The haters are bitter as they were wrong, and come into these threads to try to justify their decision not to buy BTC when it was $10 as being correct. They wait for a time period when BTC does it usual capitulation and cherry pick prices to insanely tell us that BTC is worthless. They hate to see people making a profit more than their investments.

Surely its just far safer to do your crypto, keep quiet about it when things are going well or not, keep your crucial details somewhere safe like you would a title deed or passport.. surely its a bit of a stretch to think thieves are going to start robbing houses to steal hard wallets and keys.
tomazbodner Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 This was posted by ECB... https://www.ecb.europa.eu/press/blog/date/2022/html/ecb.blog221130~5301eecd19.en.html Though there's one thing I disagree with this article. People's greed and stupidity. So Bitcoin could as well be around for a long time. 1

It isn't rocket science to buy crypto. You are not an investor, you small time gambler with crypto as it doesn't have value which backs it up. I work 40 years in IT security. 1 1 1 1
BKKBike09 Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Good for them. I much enjoyed this photo of Papa Didi "giving a speech on bitcoin adoption in Tulum, Mexico" (pop. 93) to an entranced crowd. Not sure why he doesn't spend some of his billions to buy a few more t-shirts. 1

Already answered above Your last sentance is naive plenty of reports of people being robbed once it is know they have BitCoin same for having anything of value in the home known and as you can see from comments above people assume "billions" and many wrongly think bitcoin is anonymous
