Fair play to them... not sure why it would annoy 'haters'. Seems they have made a bit of money, but hardly massive amounts.

 

Dont know why if they had plenty of cash they would ever think its a good idea to do an article about it so everyone knows. Although i did note that they repeatedly insisted that their cold storage wallets are hidden ALL OVER the world, not in their pant draw in their house in Phuket....

 

Not exactly convenient if one of their holdings sky rocket and they need to fly to Holland to get their wallet.

They can store wallet files
but what they can do, i do this myself
is split the private keys, save first half on one spreadsheet and second half on another spreadsheet (encrypted)
i can then give one file to one friend
and another file to another friend
both can be anywhere globally, neither can touch funds, i can get funds with two phonecalls (if late and i need to wake them up to send file)

i also have copies in locations i own
i was just giving an example of how to do with extra security
you can just have all private keys on an encrypted spreadsheet
store it or give it to whoever
the security is then dependant on your password
myself i use 48 characters, without any words, never written down????

I wouldn't bother explaining to these guys, they don't even know how to buy Bitcoin and come into these threads to tell us investors how foolish we are.

The haters are bitter as they were wrong, and come into these threads to try to justify their decision not to buy BTC when it was $10 as being correct. They wait for a time period when BTC does it usual capitulation and cherry pick prices to insanely tell us that BTC is worthless. They hate to see people making a profit more than their investments.

you are doing it wrong, google for "multisig wallet 2 out of 3"

Would prefer to keep it myself, what happens if your friend loses or deletes it.

 

Surely its just far safer to do your crypto, keep quiet about it when things are going well or not, keep your crucial details somewhere safe like you would a title deed or passport.. surely its a bit of a stretch to think thieves are going to start robbing houses to steal hard wallets and keys.

To put it in perspective , what about a post or article from someone who

was maybe a Crypto Millionaire or better Billionaire and now does 

not have a pot to wee in , I am sure they are out there ,but the only

stories you read are ,I bought Crypto and I don't know what to do with

all the money I have earned , you buy Crypto you can be like me......buy

it , buy it please so it goes up

It isn't rocket science to buy crypto. You are not an investor, you small time gambler with crypto as it doesn't have value which backs it up. I work 40 years in IT security.

Your last sentance is naive
plenty of reports of people being robbed once it is know they have BitCoin
same for having anything of value in the home known
and as you can see from comments above
people assume "billions" and many wrongly think bitcoin is anonymous

Just because other members have a different view on Crypto or anything else,

than yourself does not mean they are ignorant , and I think that is an ignorant

People who own Crypto are always telling other people ,you should buy , buy,

it's the best thing in the World , not because they want you to be Crypto rich

too , it's just without new buyers , Crypto would plummet ,new buyers are

the only thing keeping it going, So anyone with a different view ,telling others

to be careful ,if you have a negative view on Crypto you are the enemy and Ignorant ........
