What is the easiest / quickest way to get a visa for my wife to visit the UK
True - but it’s in their interest to make sure you have everything on order…. … so they usually ask for more than is required. My Wife has dealt with them a lot for various Schengen visas over the years & knows the requirements in detail. They always try to get her to buy extra insurance etc & threatens my wife that she’ll be rejected if she doesn’t go with the insurance on their list (we have good insurance already - never an issue). -

Reduced battery life of phone brought to thailand
Heat and age. Most phones have a feature to check battery status (percentage of capacity remaining). Also there are maintenance features that might show possible power eaters. To save battery life I use the stop charging feature. 80% and charging is held. Also don't run it empty to single digit percentages. Yes it costs usage time but better than shortening battery life. In Thailand you will always find some techs who can change battery on about every phone. Go ask what it costs (worth it). -

Labour Under Fire as Grooming Survivors Condemn Minister’s ‘Dog Whistle’ Remark
So many words saying nothing while studiously refusing to praise the one person to make this scandal known, Tommy Robinson. The left will never forgive him for this. -

Tahilands number 1 forum improves by leaps and bounds since Thaiger takeover.
AN is the leading Thai forum by miles. It had some lean years under Dan Cheeseman but has bounced back and improved by leaps and bounds since the Thaiger took over. I have no figures but it seems to have a lot more members now and more news and information relevant to the expat community. What is you favorite feature since the Thaiger takeover? One suggestion I have would be to allow native languages to be allowed on the Philippines, Indo, Singapore, Maylasia etc like we have the popular Thai Language Forum. -
