Anyone use a ST109 tracker?
What It Is & How It Works Dual‑platform compatibility: Officially licensed to work with both Apple Find My and Google Find My Device — ideal if you switch between iOS and Android reddit.com+9natlawreview.com+9morningstar.com+9. Powered by Bluetooth: No UWB support, so precise “directional” finding like AirTag’s Precision Finding isn't available cloud9teck.com+2reddit.com+2natlawreview.com+2. User-friendly: No extra apps or subscriptions. Pair directly through the native platform apps and use features like sound alerts, location updates, shareable access, separation alerts, and Lost Mode morningstar.com+6natlawreview.com+6amazon.com+6. Specs: Compact, IP67-rated, heats from –20 °C to 60 °C, powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery (≈ 6–8 months life), Bluetooth 5.2, ~80–100 m range . 👥 Real‑world Feedback Positive Highlights: Seamless setup, especially on Android — “Setup was super simple… easy to pair” amazon.com+1amazon.com+1. Compact yet durable — fits well on keys and luggage, with reliable long-distance range amazon.com. Excellent value at £20–£30 — undercuts competitors like Tile and Chipolo by £10–£15 morningstar.com. Cross-platform freedom — no need to switch trackers if you change devices morningstar.com+2natlawreview.com+2amazon.com+2. Caveats to Consider: Inconsistent connectivity — some users report pairing issues or losing connection beyond a short range amazon.com. Quiet beeper — the alert sound is adequate indoors, but may not be heard in noisy spaces . No UWB — so it lacks the precise directional tracking offered by high-end rivals like AirTag or Samsung SmartTag Ultra finance.yahoo.com+7reddit.com+7natlawreview.com+7. Reddit users also echoed similar sentiments: “I gotta be the only person that doesn't have issues with the network” “The range isn't much… very fair price for what it offers” -

Are you happy with your life in Thailand?
Totally agree. If you can give them a good education, that's great. -

Moving to stay in other province things to consider.
In general the bank account won't be a problem. Nevertheless, if you are doing something atypical I'd be asked to return to your branch you open the account I'd suggest that you take your book into your branch and tell them your signature has changed and you've had problems withdrawing money. Like to update your signature. Tellers are notorious for rejecting signatures. It push you back to your branch that's going to be a bit of a hassle for you. When you have settled you can go into a branch and ask if they will transfer the money into their branch by opening an account there. That might work. I'd really not recommend moving up country myself. Double especially if you're single. Bangkok is a nice place to live but it's obviously not for everyone. People tend to think of Bangkok as this huge, traffic choked swirling mass of humanity. I prefer to think of it as a lot of tiny little neighborhoods. I definitely wouldn't be living on Sukhumvit. -

One thing I think you're missing, is that the only way anything is changed for the better, is to complain about it. Westerners are far more advanced and know what's wrong here that locals just let fly, or their officials don't care enough about to change. Again, take away all western influence here and what do you have? You actually like the driving here? Or the fact children are not cared for like they are in the west? That women are second class citizens? You like the smoke from constant burning that hurts thousands of people? That children are passed even if they don't attend school? The power going off all the time in many areas? The crappy road and sidewalk conditions? The terrible building of homes? These are just things that affect us, let alone the locals and all the things that hurt them........... " All the moaning, it's strange behaviour, why complain, it was like that before you all arrived in Thailand"..........You make it sound like you were born here, separate from the rest of us foreigners. You aren't a local and never will be one. You're tolerated because you have money.
