Yes of course you are, its ok for you to mention freedom of speech but anyone who mentions the clear censorship carried out by twitter on these vids is off topic. Give me a break

1) The videos from Cleo Patra are still available on Twitter.

2) The Cleo Patra account was deleted.

3) Other accounts, including Steve Goffman (from the linked article that you yourself shared), still have the videos up on Twitter.

4) Do you really think that Evil Elon has a cunning master plan to censor all copies of this video on Twitter from the 18,000 or so people with cameras that were at the Arena or are you simply suffering from confirmation bias against someone with a different political outlook to you and you are all too happy to jump on a spurious reason to attack him/Twitter ?

I have no horse in this race but I really can't stand one-eyed and unreasonable argumentation, which unfortunately appears to to be the standard approach these days.

What makes Musk's claim about "volunteers" even more unbelievable is that this is the guy who demands hardcore dedication to the job. He has no use for timeservers. Yet somehow, it's okay with him for his employees to spend time at Twitter. Are they doing this instead of sleeping?

It's normally OK for employees to do volunteer work out of hours. I used to do it myself for an animal shelter in the UK at weekends, my company knew about it and had no problems at all. I didn't do it instead of sleeping either, I managed to work the day job, volunteer, and have a social life with both my colleagues and other volunteers as well - amazing huh ????.

It might even be illegal for Musk to stop his staff doing volunteer work outside their contracted hours.

As long as they aren't doing it for a Tesla competitor then I don't see why it would be an issue.

Clutching at straws.

There is a big difference from volunteering to undertake extra duties for another company and not getting paid and volunteering for for a request from Elon to carry out duties for normal or overtime pay. Do you really think they were doing it for nothing in another company away from their normal workplace...........lol

Musk says he only asked Twitter employees to work on a voluntary basis. You think maybe that an employee might consider it dangerous to his job  to say no to work that would fiscally help their desperately in need employer.

And you were working at a charitable organization that had no connection to your employment. You don't see the relevant difference?

And this is assuming that Musk is telling the truth about them being part time. And what contract is there at Telsa that specifies employee hours? Is that the kind of work environment Musk is known for promoting?

Could have been either.

As long as it was Twitter paying them and not Tesla, would that be illegal? Again, I've worked 2 jobs at the same time before. Lot's of people do a second job in the evenings or weekends. It would depend if this was banned in their Tesla contracts. Have you seen the contracts? If so, please post a link.

Read the article posted earlier why it has legal ramifications

What's more, Musk authorized employees from his other ventures to work at Tesla? Why is authorization necessary if this is strictly voluntary? Do his employees need authorization to work at an animal shelter?

I'm not sure of your point. Did you mean to work at Twitter? Or Tesla? Are you getting confused?

I needed authorization from the animal shelter to volunteer there, yes.

You don't even know if they were getting paid or not.

So why are you trying to justify their salary being paid by Twitter.....lol

First you don't believe a poster that tesla staff went there, then you dismissed media links, proving it, claiming a source is not credible. Not until you got a link from Elon himself did you believe it, now your down to arguing who they got paid by........your sinking fast.

Nice try at trying to generate confusion. Obviously it's a question of whether you need approval from your employer to work at an animal shelter.

I'm saying we don't know what's in their contract about taking second jobs, and we don't know if they are getting paid for it and if so, who is paying them.

So you are trying to bury Musk when you don't even know the facts of the matter. Desperate stuff.

"employees from Musk's other companies are now authorized to work at Twitter" They are getting paid

Musk buried himself already at the Dave Chappelle show.

It is you generating confusion. Why would they need authorization to work at Tesla? We are talking about Tesla employees working at Twitter. Not Twitter employees working at Tesla. So why would you write this? You are clearly getting confused.

And as for this...

Yes if there was a clause in my contract that stated I needed approval to take a second job then that would apply. If you have links to show the Tesla employees have such a clause in their contracts please provide them. Also, please provide links that prove that if such a clause exists, that they weren't given such approval by Tesla.

Volunteer work is still work. Have you really never heard of unpaid work? Or are you being disingenuous?

So please provide links that forbids these specific Tesla employees from taking second jobs without approval.

And links that this required approval was refused by Tesla.

Until then, you have nothing on him. It's purely a personal dislike for the guy (which I can understand but at least be honest about it).

Its Elons job to provide that to the judge, that's why they asked him in court not me. Yes I have a personal dislike for someone who makes unfounded allegations against officials and creates an atmosphere of hate driven by his own agenda but that's in a separate thread

True that. Freedom of speech is only allowed if you follow the narrative.

So true, the leftist snowflakes no longer have a forum in Twitter to proselytize their radical leftist views.

Well, maybe it would be prudent to wait for the trial before we string him up...

Given your comments on this thread, it's a bit rich to complain about someone making unfounded allegations, no? ????

Examples of my unfounded allegations that would in any way compare to Musks conspiracy spreading?
