Thousands of unedited government JFK assassination files released

Vice President Lyndon Johnson's car at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Nov. 22, 1963.

The White House has ordered the release of thousands of documents on the murder of US President John F Kennedy in full for the first time.

With the publication of some 13,173 files online, the White House said more than 97% of records in the collection were now publicly available.

No huge revelations are expected from the papers, but historians hope to learn more about the alleged assassin.

Wonder why those 3% are still not being published.

According to the article:

But he said some files would be kept under wraps until June 2023 to protect against possible "identifiable harm".

Gotta wonder what will transpire in the next 6 months such that the "identifiable harm" will disappear.

Why is it alleged? They are still unsure or what?

After a 10-month investigation, the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald assassinated Kennedy, that Oswald had acted entirely alone, and that Ruby had acted alone in killing Oswald

Deadman don't talk so they will never know for 100%.

Sadly, with lots of evidence and people (e.g. Dorothy Kilgallen) eliminated, concealed, or altered (e.g. the Zapruder film), and witnesses dying under strange circumstances, we may never know the truth. And if indeed government agencies or officials, and industrial magnates were involved, I very much doubt that they will ever tell the truth to the public.

And as for the Warren Commission, does anyone really still take the findings seriously? Just watch reenactments of the single-bullet theory (e.g. on Seinfeld) to see how ridiculous it is!

The 3% is about 5000 files they are holding back after 60 years of Bs about his death. They owe us the truth as he was a great President. If this is a cover-up and the Government was involved we all need to know the truth right now!

It would appear that what has been withheld is operational information about how and what the CIA was doing and how it collected information.

Jefferson Morley of "JFK Facts," is taking the government to court after the CIA refused to release 4,000 documents about the JFK assassination findings.

In 1992, Congress passed a mandate that all of the documents around the assassination be released by Oct. 2017, but when former President Donald Trump was in office and the time came to release all of them, he didn't. President Joe Biden has released a whopping 13,000 documents, but the CIA is still refusing to turn over the remaining 4,000 documents.
