Renewal of Retirement extension

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

Could anyone please give me some information regarding The Renewal of Retirement extension.

What is the earliest or how far ahead can I apply for my early extension based on Retirement at

Jomtien Immigration as I have to leave Thailand before the renewal date.

Thank you in advance.

Thinking Jomtien is 30 days (stand corrected) .

For many office if you can provide flight out they can let you apply for extension early.

Your extension will be granted overnight at Jomtien and you can buy reentry permit at Jomtien immigration or airport.

I confirm that Jomtien advise "30 days".

Official Immigration Bureau website states 45 days Buriram, for example, allow 40 days.

I have also heard that agents quote 3 months before.

My agent told me can be renewed max 3 months before expired date. And renew date stays the same as last expiry date.

For Agents different rules apply.

Seems that the OP is obtaining the extension himself.

That's why I was wondering whether anyone knows an agent who can do this (in Bangkok)
