Sanook Thai Cap: I can't remember who she was

 

A Norwegian man has been fined 5,000 baht by the Pattaya police for having sex in public.

 

But the Thai woman he was with near the Chumsai Intersection in Central Pattaya remains a 150-160 cm mystery.

 

Asked if he could remember his partner as he enjoyed himself up against a power pole, the Norwegian said he was drunk.

 

He can't remember who she was even though it was all caught on CCTV.

 

Pol Col Kulachart Kulachai, the Pattaya station chief, and his Tourist Police officers found the Norwegian at a hotel on Sai 3. 

 

He was taken in hand to explain himself before the 49 year old was fined 5,000 baht for offending public morals.

 

Sanook reported that the Pattaya police are still on the lookout for the lady who let Pattaya down.

Most of the time I don't even ask their names so would have nothing to remember.

offending public morals??? Coyote dancing in a temple??? in schools kids dance with copulating movements...just a few examples....

You can say whatever you want. If the police want to do a good job here, they really do. The reputation of this great, lovely family resort has once again been preserved. And we've all learned that it might be cheaper to have "entertainment" here at home or in one of the many short-time rooms in hotels and bars.

5,000 baht fine? That's more than he would have paid the woman. In fact, for that money, he could have had a hotel room and at least two women. Let that be a lesson to us all.

looks like he stayed at hotel very close to an intersection he fornicated.

How stupid of him, as cctv cameras are on all the major roads and especially intersections.

Still, it took police several days to go through all recordings. Most probably tens of officers spend hundreds of hours to solve the case which ended with 5k fine. Yet less time they put into serious crime, including road accidents, happening in Pattaya

All shrewd ANF Pattaya CCTV Experts have long asserted the CCTV cameras don't work. Why shouldn't he take them seriously?

You dunno how much time they put into serious crime, just a little bash that had to be got in.

 

But it wasn't so much the fine. If they hadn't caught and fined him, then you'd have to constantly dodge farang fornicating on the pavements, streets, and beach. B5000 means an awful lot to our baked-beans-on-toast tourists concerned to avoid barfines.

So what we are saying is his actions were a crime and worth pursuing with much effort by Pattaya plod. What she did, wasn't!
