Woman arrested in connection with online cheating of boy who killed himself

Police from Thailand’s Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) have arrested a woman for allegedly opening bank accounts used by online scammers, who reportedly cheated a 15-year-old boy out of about 14,000 baht. The boy, who is believed to have stolen the money from his parents, later committed suicide.

 

Armed with an arrest warrant, CCIB officers went to a house in Tha Rua district of Ayutthaya province yesterday (Tuesday) and arrested the woman. They also seized her smart phone.

 

The woman, whose name was withheld, reportedly claimed that she responded to an offer on Facebook to open two bank accounts in return for a fee. The accounts were used to park money wired into the accounts by victims of the scammers, before being transferred to the scammers’ accounts.

Nail her for being a part of the scam system by aiding and abetting cyber crime.

Then follow the money trail and hammer the scum who are responsible for doing this.

This is the personification and definition of evil. Abetting criminals equates to being part and parcel of the criminal operation. Never mind the money but that boy's life ended because of her actions. Hopefully with her help, the scammers are also pursued and prosecuted to the absolute very last.

Thailand’s young people now have an increased risk of depression and suicide, Kiattibhoom Vongrachit, Director-General of the Department of Mental Health (DMH), told Thai PBS on Monday (10 June). In the first six months of this year, 40,635 calls were made to DMH’s hotline; 13,658 of the calls were from children and young people aged between 11 and 25 years old.

 

 

So you think it is improved? Guess not, even got worse probably due to covid pandemie. The Thaiger reports an alarming rise

So who is to blame? It is when the brain pops and you loose it.

Sad story, I heard, was from a young guy.

In school was asked, what they wanted to be later in life.

He answered: he wanted to be dead.

The whole class laughed( they should be shocked), but he just said it.

He is stil alive today, yet.

How many kids are graduated and dont find a job?

4 positions in government at the time then, 2000 applications!

It gets you down, is my guess, up till where?

And thats life, billions of people on the edge. In the past, present and sure in the future. A CEO is better then a scammer? no they are the same. It is in time what you meet and how it effects you.

 

I had a college, good paid job in the company. Company was thinking different at one time, after many promotions, lost his job. At that time, he also was in a divorce. He couldnt cope and committed suicide.
