Lottery Vendor Robbed Of 25,000 Baht

An unlucky Lottery Vendor was robbed by teenagers on Sukhumvit Road near the Highway Police at 2 am on 30th June and the thieves managed to get away on a motorbike.

The Pattaya Police arrived to find Mrs. Nootaeng, aged 55, the lottery vendor waiting in a shocked condition.

She stated that she was making her way into the Soi near the Highway police where she resides. A thin man about 165 cm tall approached her to buy a pair of lottery tickets and gave her a 500 Baht banknote.

When she reached into her bag and pulled out her wallet; the man snatched it and ran to his friend who was 50 meters away waiting on a motorbike and both fled the scene. The thieves got away with about 25,000 Baht.
